A UNC piece with minor cabinet friction on the reverse, not cleaned. Tough to located UNC pieces for early date of Meiji 1 Yen. Splendid example with nice lusters & strong calligraphy.

This Vietnam coin is consider one of the valuable piece after the independent of Vietnam. There're 2 types of coins for this series. One of it is incused design which is used for circulation, the above is raised design which is minted earlier. This series is believe to be taken away straight from the mint when it was minted & never been circulated.

This piece is crudely hand struck in Copper/Billon(Love Grade Silver), with a single die on a flat, black surface.
